THE GRAND FINALE・GOAL: $10,000
‣ If We Raise At Least $7,500 (75% of Goal) . . . Teachers & Staff will get Pied in the FACE by the Top AOK Student per Grade (Quality Counts) and the Top Dollar Student per Grade!
Join us on Thursday, October 3 @ 5:30 (School Cafeteria) for a fun night of Giving Back to our Community.
Please come to Family Service Night to participate in activity stations with your child that give back to our community, and while you’re at it, bring shoes! As part of this event, we will be collecting gently worn shoes (no holes, no tears) for families in need.
DO STUDENTS GET PLEDGES PER ACT OF KINDNESS?
No way! This is all about paying it forward, NOT getting paid to be kind. Participants pay kindness forward to others, whether or not they receive donations!
HOW DOES THE 90% PLUS GUARANTEE WORK?
At the end of your fundraiser, we’ll calculate the total net fees. If the total net fees are greater than 10%, we’ll refund the difference! So what are net fees? Net fees are the sum of the Raise Craze fees and the Payment Processing fees minus the fees that your donors cover through our “Keep the Kindness Going” Program.
CAN WE ACCEPT CASH/CHECKS?
Yes! Please have checks made payable to “Christie Elementary PTA” and make sure your student’s name is on the Memo line of the check. Any cash or checks should be turned into the classroom teacher, in a sealed envelope, with the student’s name clearly printed on the front. All Cash/Check donations will be entered into the software by someone on PTA Board, so respective students and classrooms receive credit.
HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE STUDENTS COMPLETE THE ACTS OF KINDNESS?
We operate on the honor system so remind students about the importance of being honest when checking off completed AOK in the software. We recommend making prizes for most completed AOK about recognition and special privileges instead of extravagant, high-cost items.
